Thank you Friend card

If you are looking for a lot of Thank you sentiments the Ornate Thanks stamp set has many and I used several in today's card. I used the Stamparatus to position the sentiments exactly where I wanted.

I was going to add a pretty flower in the open space but then I thought of the cute lady in the Bunches of Fun stamp set.  She's definitely is a fun character stamp and just by changing the color of her hair, skin & dress you can match her to any card style.

I entered this card in the CAS Color & Sketch challenge #434

Matte: Black 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Stamping Piece White 5 1/4 x 4

Peaceful Deer - non holiday card

Today I wanted to share a how to make a non-holiday card using the Peaceful Deer Stamps.

I was inspired by all the deer in the park next to my house...just a lot of greenery and a bunch of deer (eating all the greenery)  LOL!

The Peaceful Deer stamps coordinate with the Deer Builder Punch.

My card today is showing off the pretty Peaceful Prints DSP that is a FREE item in the Sale-a-bration catalog.  It coordinates with the Peaceful Deer Stamps and Coordinating punch. I decided to stamp one of the trees in that stamp set because I thought it subtly showed off the beautiful paper.

I submitted this card in the  Global Design Project Challenge - a layout challenge. #GDP306
I love challenges as they spark creativity!

The red plaid DSP is 5 1/4 x 4 and the Tree DSP and white pieces were cut using the all versatile Scalloped Contour Dies.  A simple stamped tree, a few red jewels and a bow with the new black & white gingham ribbon and this card is done.
(Inside I added a pretty sentiment from this stamp set and a red plaid strip of the DSP 3/8 x 4)

I hope you enjoy today's card.

The supplies I used are listed below and are clickable shopping links should you want to buy some supplies but remember, the paper can be earned free with a $50 purchase.

On today's Spotlight on Stamping Live Video I showed in detail how to use the Love of Leaves "distinktive" stamps to get the best stamped image. These stamps are meant to have a uneven look with darker and lighter areas for a more realistic/artistic result.

I also showed my card samples and described many of the different techniques possible with the Love of Leaves stamps & Stitched Leaves dies.

In ending we made a Thank You note card. Stampin Up Note Cards are a great value and are one of my favorite stamping staple....all ready scored and envelopes are included!

Below are shopping links for the stamps set & die set and some of the stamping supplies used in making this notecard.
