Dressed to Impress #GDP302

Lately, I have been entering my cards in several different challenges.  I find these challenges are motivational and inspirational.  Here is a card I made for a sketch challenge for  Global Designs Project 302.

I used DRESSED TO IMPRESS stamps and the bold paper from the PATTERN PARTY paper pack.

ENJOY!          #GDP302

Positive Thoughts / Best Wishes #MTCC26

Here is the card I designed for this weeks Make the Cards Challenge. #MTCC26.
It was a sketch challenge and I needed an anniversary card so here is what I came up with.  I wish you could see it in person because the picture doesn't do it justice.  Enjoy!

Here are the details:
The base is Blushing Bride 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
The matte is Smoky Slate 5 1/4 x 4.
The white circle is 2 3/4, EF Tasteful Textiles 3d
I heat embossed the white leaves on the gray piece.
I heat embossed on blushing bride the white flowers then cut them out with the dies.
I cut the 3 lacy strips and 2 butterflies.
Adhere the 3 lacy strips.  Pop Up the white circle. Adhere with glue 2 flowers and pop up the third.
Adhere the 2 butterflies.
Stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray ink on a 1/2" strip of blushing bride.
Adhere the left side of the sentiment strip with a dimensional and a bit of glue on the right side.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice inside on a piece of white cardstock 5 1/4 x 4.

Here is another card I made using this same sketch:

I hope these cards inspires you to 'Make the Cards'!

Global Design Project #301 - Positive Thoughts - #GDP301

Today's card was inspired by a color challenge / Global Design Project #301.

#GDP301

The colors are Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana and Polished Pink.  What a great color combo, right?

I used the Positive Thoughts stamp set to create an all occasion card.   This set is very fun to stamp with and the coordinating dies not only cut out the floral images and large butterfly but there are several other extra accent dies like the little butterfly and the lacy strip. I also used the Peek-a-boo Farm Hello there stamp.  I just cut it down.

I hope you enjoy my card and give it a try.  Please let me know if you have any questions, or if I can help with any of your stamping needs.

Base: Coastal Cabana 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

White stamping pieces front & inside  5 1/4 x 4
