Whimsical Tree Stamps

Let Your Heart Be Light. I think this is one of my favorite cards. I love this sentiment (from the Whimsical Tree stamp set.) and the time worn embossed background and how the tiny trees match the stripes in the pretty dsp. Actually, everything in this suite is great. Here is a link to the bundle (save 10% when you buy both the stamps & dies together). You will also love this set!
It has coordinating dies, dsp and ribbon! All beautiful! More details are below.
Enjoy today's card.
I whipped up a dozen notecards using the Whimsical Tree stamps & Christmas Tree dies and the tree is cut from White Velvet sheets. You can watch my 'how to' video on my YouTube channel HERE.
The supplies I used are listed below in clickable shopping links.
I love this happy little Santa in the Be Jolly stamp set!

I'm sharing a couple of easy tags I made with just cardstock & inks because you know Stampin' Ups big seasonal sale is coming up and Cardstock will be 10% off and Inks will be 15% off. It's great time to stock up!
I wanted to keep the tags easy so I stamped the images with memento ink and colored them in with my blender pens. (Just dab the pens on your ink pad and start coloring.) If you have a few streaks, keep coloring, it will blend together beautifully. I fussy cut them out and popped them on the tag with dimensionals.
The tags were cut using the Tailor Made Tag dies. I cut one out of cardstock and white and glued them together to make them nice and sturdy. I stamped To/From on the white side.
The tiny piece of dsp is from the Patterned Party dsp pack. (Best deal in the catalog...page 171)
ENJOY!

What I like about my card today is the use of the Peaceful Place DSP...particularly, the sheet with all the many cabins. Sometimes it is difficult to use this type of patterned paper but what I did was cut a strip and then fussy cut the tops of the cabins and added it as a neighborhood background for my little red cabin. The shimmery stars at the top is also part of the pretty Peaceful Place DSP.
This card was also featured in my newsletter where I offered a Free PDF. You can sign up for my newsletter here on my blog.
