Here is the card I designed for this weeks Make the Cards Challenge. #MTCC26.
It was a sketch challenge and I needed an anniversary card so here is what I came up with. I wish you could see it in person because the picture doesn't do it justice. Enjoy!
Here are the details:
The base is Blushing Bride 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
The matte is Smoky Slate 5 1/4 x 4.
The white circle is 2 3/4, EF Tasteful Textiles 3d
I heat embossed the white leaves on the gray piece.
I heat embossed on blushing bride the white flowers then cut them out with the dies.
I cut the 3 lacy strips and 2 butterflies.
Adhere the 3 lacy strips. Pop Up the white circle. Adhere with glue 2 flowers and pop up the third.
Adhere the 2 butterflies.
Stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray ink on a 1/2" strip of blushing bride.
Adhere the left side of the sentiment strip with a dimensional and a bit of glue on the right side.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice inside on a piece of white cardstock 5 1/4 x 4.
Here is another card I made using this same sketch:
I hope these cards inspires you to 'Make the Cards'!
